About Us
and FAQ
“It’s about being ready.”
Andy and Tom
“First and foremost, Andy and I are musicians.
We have played all manner of gigs, from recording sessions to barrooms,
weddings to church services, amusement parks to concert stages.
We know the consequences of poor equipment. Not funny. ” Tom
“If your equipment is falling apart before you
even get to the gig, what’s going to happen on stage? If your
intonation is out, how are you going to play in tune? Bad jacks,
bad pots, bad switches, bad frets, we’ve seen it all a thousand
times over.” Andy
“We stock a huge selection of parts and pickups
because we are always looking for the correct solution to whatever
the particular problem maybe. Because every guitar player is unique
and so is every guitar, the right pickups or bridge for one player
might not be the right ones for another.” Tom
“Hot Rodding a guitar isn’t for everyone.
But if there was a Hot Rodder Hall of Fame, it would include the
likes of Les Paul, Leo Fender, James Burton, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie
Van Halen, and Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few. When you Hot Rod,
you’re in mighty fine company.” Tom
"Bad action. All guitar players hate it. It
maybe caused by your guitar reacting to changes in humidity, or
it could be the result of major structural damage to the guitar.
It may just need a setup. Our shop is ready and well equipped to
solve a wide variety of problems and get you ready for your next
gig.” Andy
